The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Economy Needle Charging Tool is an essential service tool for nitrogen charging ICON internal reservoir shock absorbers equipped with self-sealing charge ports. Designed for occasional service use, the tool utilizes a replaceable 20 GA x 1-inch hypodermic needle that pierces the charge port plug to inject nitrogen, with the self-sealing plug automatically resealing upon needle removal. Precision CNC machined brass fittings provide durability and a reliable connection, while standard 1/4-inch NPT threads allow easy attachment to a nitrogen supply hose and regulator. Economically priced and simple to use, the ICON Economy Needle Charging Tool offers a convenient and dependable solution for properly servicing ICON internal reservoir shocks.

This nitrogen fill tool is needed to check or refill the nitrogen charge when servicing ICON 2.0 and 2.5 smooth body shocks, as well as 2.5 non-reservoir coil over shocks. On these shocks we use an in house CNC machined charge port which has a low profile design for clearance. The ICON nitrogen fill tool is required to puncture a rubber plug in the charge port, allowing nitrogen into the shock through the hypodermic needle.
