Constructed of 11 rows of cooling tubes and paired with 12 rows of 8mm multi-louvered high-performance fins, it delivers outstanding heat transfer efficiency. A CNC billet-machined thermostatic plate replaces the factory stack cooler which reroutes transmission fluid to the new cooler mounted in front of the radiator. There are two important reasons for this: 1: The factory system does not include a thermostat. This makes it harder for the transmission to reach operating temp quickly, especially on cooler days. CSF integrated a thermostat into the billet plate. 2: The factory stack style oil cooler can cause some ground clearance issues. Because of its location, many owners have damaged their cooler off-road.
