Descripción del fabricante

The CSF radiator features a 1-Row 31mm aluminum core that not only increases the fluid capacity of the radiator, but also improves the cores ability to dissipate heat. CSF went through several different prototypes using cores of varying thicknesses. The 31mm core was found to be the best balance of performance and fitment. This sizing allows for use of an OE style clutch pull fan or an aftermarket electric push fan. CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. With nearly double the number of cooling fins and tubes, the CSF Radiator will outperform the OEM unit by a significant margin. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. The radiator mounts in the factory location and requires no modifications or cutting.

There are countless BMW models that are deemed classics at this point. However, the BMW 2002 is regarded by most as the original German sports sedan and the grandfather of the mighty 3-series. With more people restoring and updating these classics, CSF's Classic Series is here to help. Given the age of the BMW 2002, it is a wise idea to upgrade the cooling system. Factory systems from the 60's and 70's may have been fine at the time, but cooling technology has come a long way since then. So if you're looking for the best possible cooling system, then look no further than the new CSF BMW 2002 High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator. It is perfect for those looking for an OEM+ or High-Performance Upgrade.

The original OE radiator from BMW is a brass tank with a copper core design. While this was good quality and durable at the time, heat exchanger technology has progressed significantly over the decades since these cars were released. There have been several OEM alternatives available, but their plastic tank and aluminum core design were marginal in quality and performance at best. Older performance vehicles require the best possible cooling systems and can greatly benefit from improved cooling efficiency. Anyone who has restored/updated a classic car knows the value of having updated parts that are as efficient as possible.

The BMW 2002 originally came equipped with a clutch style mechanical fan. While these old school fans function just fine, many owners like to upgrade to modern electrical fans. To make this conversion easier, CSF includes adjustable mounting brackets that allow the end user to install a Push style electric fan on the front side of the radiator if desired. The radiator still can be used with the OE clutch puller fan, but CSF recommends upgrading to an electric fan when possible. The push style electric fan is compatible with A/C Systems. The brackets are designed to work with an 11" SPAL Fan #30100365.
