The uniball is adapted to the spindle\/knuckle using model specific spacers machined from heat-treated stainless steel, for a precision fit without the need for drilling or modifications. The 1.25\" uniball allows for a larger and stronger 12-point bolt with a low-profile press-on uniball cap to resist the elements. We use double pinch bolts to secure the arm to the torsion bar and pocket them to reduce weight without compromising strength. We did this by designing the front and rear spring hangers to bolt to the frame using the existing holes used by the factory mounts that are riveted on. Our mounts are considerably stronger than weld-on versions and we incorporated tabbing on the rear mounts for a x-member or fuel cell cradle for even more strength. This race and BITD 7100 class championship winning kit has been used over the years on serious prerunners and race trucks in the deserts of California and as far as the Dakar rally. A limited travel variation of this kit was also used on the 2017 Tacoma we raced in the 2017 Mint 400 in the 7300 class. These collars preload the coil spring, providing increased compression travel for off-roading. They are CNC machined from aerospace quality 6061-T6 aluminum and come in black, gold, KINETIK gray, and red versions. Installation requires removing the coilovers from the truck and using a heavy-duty spring compressor. We offer two lift options: 1.5\" for leveling with 35\" tires and 2\" for larger 37\" tires. These collars are not compatible with aftermarket coil springs on the OEM stock shocks. For the '19-20 models with electronic FOX Live Valve suspension, slight modification of the plastic wire retainer is necessary. Additionally, when using the factory OEM 17\" wheel or positive offset wheel, a 1\/4\" - 3\/8\" wheel spacer may be required for larger tires. We recommend a zero offset wheel. These arms have undergone extensive CAD designing and machining to meet our high standards. They are CNC machined in-house from aerospace quality 6061 billet aluminum, Type II anodized and laser etched. We utilize a larger FK 1.25\" uniball with a military grade PTFE internal liner for increased strength, longevity and higher misalignment, allowing for maximum wheel travel. The uniball is adapted to the spindle\/knuckle using model specific spacers machined from heat-treated stainless steel, for a precision fit without the need for drilling or modifications. The 1.25\" uniball allows for a larger and stronger 12-point bolt with a low-profile press-on uniball cap to resist the elements. Additional camber and caster adjustment is available with the use of larger and stronger FK 7\/8\" chromoly heim joints, which also eliminate flexing\/deflection under hard use and heavy braking without binding.
